Chartered architect · Maidstone & Kent
Houses, drawn to be built.
bMAC Studio is an architecture practice in Maidstone, led by a chartered architect. We design extensions, loft conversions and whole-house remodels across Kent, and draw them in enough detail that a builder can price the job without guessing at what is missing.

★★★★★
Having been refused planning twice, I have referred to Bruno of BMac Studio who was able to gain planning permission with the assistance of a pre-application which was not advise or deem necessary by the previous architect. I went on to use Bruno on my rental property and would highly recommend his services.
-
★★★★★
We developed extreme trust in Bruno following repeated failed Council applications refusals… his perseverance and valued advices will help this time in achieving the property development we need. We can only highly recommend him on this ground of trust and dedication.

Mac Studios provided a comprehensive design and drawing service for our project in Rochester. Bruno walked us through the design options with a good understanding of the project goals. Full planning was obtained and construction and building drawings supplied. Great service.

Returning client of Brunos. So happy with his concept ideas and design of full basement renovation… Bruno followed through design from first meeting, design of plans and submission for planning permission, which was approved.

I called on Bruno after a failed party wall award which incurred lots of expenses and lost time… he was on time and kept the communication going which is always good in stressful situations. He was knowledgeable and compassionate given the problems we had encountered.

02 The practice
Drawn first. Then built.
Every project is a drawing set before it is a building, and the gap between the two is where budgets go.
So the detail goes in early: junctions, thresholds, insulation lines, structural openings. Resolved on paper, where changing your mind is free.
-
01
Homes & Extensions
Extensions, lofts and refurbishments designed around daylight rather than square metres.
-
02
Planning
Applications prepared, submitted and managed — including schemes refused under a previous designer.
-
03
Conversions
Garages, barns and change of use, assessed before you buy rather than after.
-
04
Technical Delivery
Building regulations and construction drawings, detailed enough to tender and build from.
03 Work
A few of the houses.
Extensions, remodels and one town-centre conversion — this run moves sideways.
04 How it runs
Five stages, in order.
Most householder projects follow this shape. You can stop after any stage.
05 Enquiries
Tell us what you are planning.
A couple of lines is enough to start. You will get a straight answer about what is actually involved — permitted development or a full application, roughly how long it takes, and what the drawings would cost.
- Answered by the architect who would do the work.
- No charge and no obligation for the first conversation.
- If you do not need an architect for it, we will say so.
Thank you — that is with us.
We will reply to you by email. If it is urgent, call 07492 879494.
