Privacy notice

What happens to the details you give us when you ask about a project, who else handles them, and what you can ask us to do with them.

Who we are

bMAC Studio is the trading name of BMAC STUDIO ARCHITECTURE AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, company number 10347624. Registered office: 53 West Street, Sittingbourne, England, ME10 1AN.

The company is the controller of the personal data this notice describes: it decides why and how that data is used.

To ask about your data, or anything in this notice, email bruno@bmacstudio.co.uk or call 07492 879494.

What we collect

The enquiry form on the homepage asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to give it
  • The postcode or town of the property
  • What you are planning, chosen from a short list of project types
  • Anything else you want to tell us, if you choose to

If you email or phone us instead, we have whatever you send or tell us, and the email address or phone number you contact us from.

We do not ask for anything else, and the website itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics: see Cookies and storage.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a quote. Nothing else, and there is no mailing list.

Who sees it

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone else for their own use.

The enquiry form

The form does not send anything to us by itself. When you press Send enquiry, it opens the email program on your own device with a message to bruno@bmacstudio.co.uk already written from what you typed. Nothing is sent until you send that email yourself, and no form service sees it. Your own email provider handles the message as it handles any email you send.

Email

Email to bruno@bmacstudio.co.uk, whether it comes from the form or you write it yourself, is held by our email provider (IONOS).

The website host

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages, run by GitHub, Inc. in the United States. GitHub logs and stores the IP address of every visitor to the site, for security. More in GitHub’s Pages documentation.

Google Fonts

The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser asks Google’s servers for them. Google says these requests include your IP address, the address of the font requested, and the HTTP headers your browser sends, including its user agent and the referrer (the page that made the request). More in Google’s Fonts privacy FAQ.

Your rights

You can ask us:

  • For a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access)
  • To correct it if it is wrong or incomplete (rectification)
  • To delete it (erasure)
  • To limit how we use it (restriction)
  • To stop using it (objection)
  • To give it to you, or to someone else, in a common format a computer can read (portability)

Some of these rights apply only in certain circumstances. To use any of them, email bruno@bmacstudio.co.uk.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to us. Please do that first, at bruno@bmacstudio.co.uk, so we can put it right.

You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator (ico.org.uk): make a complaint.

Do you have to give it?

No. Giving us your details is not a legal or contractual requirement. Without a way to contact you, though, we cannot reply.

Automated decisions

None. We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not profile you.

Cookies and storage

The website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device: no local storage, session storage or anything similar. It runs no analytics, tracking or advertising, and embeds nothing from other sites: no maps, videos or social media widgets.

The only other company a page contacts is Google, for the fonts described above. The links to Houzz, MyBuilder and Bark take you to those sites, which have their own privacy notices; nothing loads from them unless you follow a link.
